Mel Wikner - Founder
Mel began her career in 2006 after graduating from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis. She has since developed into one of the most dynamic and versatile stylists in the Twin Cities. Her work has been featured in Minneapolis/St.Paul Magazine, at New York Fashion Week, and numerous editorial and commercial shoots.
Mel has an eye for detail, and for bringing out her clients individuality and style. Opening Brixton Hue is an exciting step in her career, and one that draws on her years of experience to create an atmosphere of luxury, style, and creativity.
Monica Anderson
As an artistic entrepreneur, I owned and operated a prominent upscale salon for over 20 years in Michigan. I have recently relocated to Prior Lake to become a part of the Brixton Hue Salon team. I specialize in Business, Advanced Color, and Technical Coursework. I have the experience of working in multiple Fashion Weeks, The Oscars and several reality television programs in Hollywood, New York, and London. My optimism, energy, sense of humor, and natural ability to connect with people has helped me coach and mentor throughout this industry. I am continuing to challenge myself and look forward to growing in my new community.
Allie Larson
I began my journey in the cosmetology industry in 2010. I am originally from the Prior Lake area and love working in my hometown and getting to see so many familiar faces. I have a passion for hair and fashion which is what ultimately led me to this amazing industry. I specialize in blonding and styling. My favorite part about my job is making people feel beautiful and confident.
Morgan Metzger
My love for hair started at a very young age, but my career began in 2011 after graduating from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis. I live in Prior Lake and am so excited to work within my own community while meeting new people. My passion is using different color techniques to create looks that are personalized for every individual. The relationships I build with clients are something that I truly value. I love being a highlight in someone’s day and making them feel the best version of themselves when they leave my chair.
Mariah Rolland
I started my career at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis in 2016. I grew up in southern Minnesota and love the area. I’ve always been a creative person and love being able to use my artistic abilities in my work everyday!
I love to do balayage, mens haircuts, and styles of all sorts!
Annika DuMoulin
I began my cosmetology journey in 2019 at the Minnesota School of Beauty. I have an interest in all things fashion and beauty, which is why I’m excited to be in this career. I specialize in blonding and hand-tied extensions. I’m always motivated to learn something new, and I want to be the best I can be behind the chair. I can’t wait to meet you!
Maddie Heinrich
I began my cosmetology journey in 2019 at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis. My passion for hair came to me at a young age while growing up in Prior Lake. I am so excited to continue to grow my education, and build my career so close to home. I value getting to know every one of you and can't wait to do your hair!
